(b. 2000) is a New York-based soprano, pianist, opera répétiteur and collaborative musician. Her musical path began as a multi-instrumentalist studying violin, flute, piano, and voice from the tender age of six.

Her early achievements as a pianist include earning DipABRSM and LRSM Piano Performance Diplomas from the Royal Schools of Music, United Kingdom with distinction honors at age thirteen and fifteen, winning her first piano competition at age eleven, as well as receiving awards from international competitions in Salzburg, Japan and Poland. She later expanded her training into classical voice and completed dual degrees in piano and voice at the prestigious University of Mozarteum in Salzburg. She also holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music.

Maintaining an active presence as both a singer and a pianist, her recent stage credits include roles such as Frasquita in Carmen, Fortuna in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Annio in La clemenza di Tito, and Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte. As an opera répétiteur, she has worked with New Opera Singapore on productions of Rusalka and Rigoletto, as well as I Pagliacci rehearsals in Salzburg.

Vaana currently serves as a Staff Pianist on the Collaborative Piano faculty at the Manhattan School of Music across the Classical Voice, Opera Theatre and Musical Theatre divisions. Fluent in English, German, and Mandarin Chinese, she works across vocal and piano performance, coachings, and collaborative music.
